Andrew M. Kaponya

Andrew Kaponya is a Development Communication specialist working as a Lecturer in the department of Journalism and Media Studies. His research interests are in media for sustainable socio-economic development. Before joining academia, Andrew boosts of 15 years industry experience having worked in the corporate sector as Head of Marketing Communication and later joined the NGO sector where he was responsible for development communication programming. He later served in the Office of the Vice President as an Advisor in policy and Communications. He holds a Masters degree in Development Studies obtained from University of Malawi.
